What to bring to a PCB party.

Plan your night3 min read·By Springbreakology·Updated October 2026

Less is better at a loud, crowded party. Here is the short list.

What do you actually need?

Four things:

1. Valid photo ID. Required to enter (18+) and to drink (21+). No exceptions, on every card level.
2. Your PCB Club Card. The physical card you pick up at Hammerhead Fred's. Bring it every night.
3. Your phone. Charged. A screenshot of your group's meet-up spot helps.
4. A small portable charger. Phones die at parties. Photos and group chats burn battery.

That fits in a pocket. If you need a bag, make it small and keep it close.

Why does the ID matter so much?

Because venues check it. PCB states it plainly on its rules and ID page: 18+ to enter with valid photo ID, 21+ to drink with valid photo ID. The card does not replace ID. Keep it on you, not in a friend's bag.

What can you leave in the room?

• Anything you would be upset to lose. Jewelry, a second phone, a nice watch.
• Extra cards and cash. Bring one card and a little cash.
• A big bag. It becomes something to keep track of all night.
• Clothes for later. Unless the party is messy. For paint nights, see the glow party guide.

What should you add for specific parties?

• Illumination (paint): a zip bag for phone and ID, and a dry top for after.
• Beach Blast (day): sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat. It runs 1 to 5 PM outside.
• Any night: a light layer for the walk home. See what to wear at night in March.

We do not list venue bag rules, because PCB does not. If you are unsure, check with the venue before you go.

How do you protect your phone?

Use a wrist strap or a zip pocket. Turn on a screen lock and location sharing with your group. DoItForBreak has a post on cell service, Wi-Fi and charging on Front Beach Road.

What should you do before you leave the room?

A thirty-second check:

• ID in your pocket
• Card in your pocket
• Phone above 50%
• Meet-up spot sent to the group
• Water bottle finished

Then go. Pickup details are in the card pickup checklist.

What if you are going as a group?

Share the load. One person does not need to carry everything.

• One charger for the group, not one per person, if your group sticks together.
• A group chat pin with the meet-up spot and everyone's plan.
• Each person holds their own ID and card. Do not pool them in one bag.

Carry list questions.

18+ to enter / 21+ to drink, valid photo ID required. Details on card levels, prices and parties come from pcbclubcard.com; check it for the latest.
