Not really a party person? Do PCB your way.
You can be at the party without being the party.

Some people love a packed dance floor. Some people want to go for an hour and leave. Both are fine. Here is how to build a PCB week that works for the second kind of person.
What are your options if big clubs are not your thing?
You have more choices than "club all night." PCB's calendar has three formats:
- The daytime party. Beach Blast runs 1 to 5 PM on Wednesdays at SeƱor Frog's. It is outside, in daylight, and you can see your friends.
- The live-music bar. Whiskey's Saloon has live bands, pool tables and darts, in an indoor and outdoor space. It describes itself as a locals-meet-visitors kind of place.
- The early window. Entry is free early on every card level. The Fred's Card is 8 to 10 PM at Fred's, and Platinum is free until 11 PM.
Can you go for just an hour?
Yes. Nothing makes you stay. Go for the first part of the night, take the photos, dance for a bit and leave while you are still enjoying it. Your card is valid every night of your week, so one short night does not cost you anything.
Tell your group your plan before you go. "I am out at 10:30" is a normal sentence.

What if your group wants to stay out?
Make a simple deal:
- Set a meet-up spot and a check-in time.
- Share your location with one friend.
- Plan the way home before you separate. Do not leave alone late at night.
Our guide to not losing your group has more on this.
What are good things to do instead?
Daytime in PCB has plenty of them. DoItForBreak lists things to do that are not a bar. You can do a daytime plan, a calm dinner and one party you really want.
What if you are under 21?
You are in the same boat as lots of people. 18+ gets you in with valid photo ID. 21+ gets you a drink. The music, the dancing and the photos do not need a drink. Beach Blast and the night parties are all about the music. See mixed ages in a group.
How do you pick the right party?
Pick by vibe, not by hype. Whiskey's Saloon hosts Bass & Boots, a country and club night. Hammerhead Fred's has the biggest production. The venue guide shows which is which. PCB lists all four on its partner venues page.
What is the one rule?
Leave when you are done. Nobody is counting.
What is a good plan for one night?
If you only want one big night, try this. Pick a party you are curious about, eat dinner first, arrive early so you can get a feel for the room and leave when the music stops being fun. Meet friends the next day for the beach. You do not owe anyone a full night.
Quiet nights questions.
Do I have to stay all night?
No. Your card is valid every night of your week, and nothing makes you stay. Free entry hours differ by card level.
Is there a party that is not a loud club?
Beach Blast is a daytime party, and Whiskey's Saloon has live bands, pool tables and darts. Both are on PCB's list.
Can I go if I do not drink?
Yes. 18+ gets you in with valid photo ID. The free-drink windows are for guests 21+ only.
How do I tell my friends I am leaving early?
Tell them before you go out, share your location with one friend and plan how you will get back.
