TL;DRBeach Blast runs 1 to 5 PM on Wednesdays (Mar 3, 10, 17 and 24) at Señor Frog's. It is free for Platinum and Ultimate, with drinks and food included, and the Fred's Card is not valid. Eat, hydrate, wear sunscreen and bring valid photo ID: 18+ to enter, 21+ to drink. The PCB Club Card gets you in.

Most spring break parties are at night. Beach Blast is the exception. It is a daytime party, and it needs a different plan.

What is Beach Blast?

PCB calls it the biggest daytime takeover of spring break. It runs on Wednesdays, 1 to 5 PM, at Señor Frog's, 15005 Front Beach Rd. PCB's party page lists national touring DJs (2027 artists TBA), contests with prizes, pizza and taco specials. See our Beach Blast party page.

When is it?

Every Wednesday of the season: March 3, 10, 17 and 24, 1 to 5 PM. One in each week, so any week you pick has one.

Who gets in free?

Platinum and Ultimate: free, with drinks and food included.
Fred's Card: not valid at Señor Frog's.

Free drinks are for guests 21+ with valid photo ID. 18+ gets you in. PCB's card page has the table.

What should you wear and bring?

Swimwear or shorts, sunglasses and a hat
Sunscreen, put on before you leave
Shoes you can walk through sand in
Valid photo ID and your PCB Club Card
A small bag, or none

More in our guides to what to wear to every party and what to bring.

How do you pace four hours?

Four hours outside in the sun is long. A sample:

Before: Eat a real lunch. Drink water.
First hour: Find a spot with shade. Learn the layout.
Middle: Water between drinks (21+ only). Reapply sunscreen.
Last hour: Eat the pizza. Take the photos.
After: Head back, rest, shower. Plan the night.

What if you want to go out that night?

Wednesday often has evening parties too. On March 17, there are three more. See the March 17 plan. On other Wednesdays, Snowfall live on March 10 is at Fred's. A rest between the day party and the night party is smart.

What if you are under 21?

You can go. The drinks are 21+. The music, the beach setting and the contests are for everyone who gets in. See mixed ages at PCB.

What does a day party feel like?

Casual and sunny, closer to a long afternoon than a club night. DoItForBreak's day parties vs night parties explains the difference from the trip side.

What are the mistakes to skip?

Arriving without lunch. The party has food, but you want a base.
Skipping sunscreen. Four hours outside is a lot of sun.
Forgetting ID. Daytime or not, it is 18+ to enter and 21+ to drink.
Trying to do the night too. If you want the evening, plan a real rest in between.
Bringing the wrong card. The Fred's Card is not valid at Señor Frog's.
