When plans change: transfers and final sales.

The card3 min read·By Springbreakology·Updated October 2026

Trips with friends change. Someone gets a job shift, someone has a test, someone bails. Before you buy, know the rule.

What does PCB say about refunds and transfers?

The exact wording on PCB's card page and FAQ:

• "All purchases are final. However, you may transfer your pass to another eligible attendee before pickup."

That is all PCB says. So the plan is: no refunds, but a transfer is allowed before pickup.

What does "eligible attendee" mean?

PCB does not define it on the pages we read. Our reading: the person needs to meet the same rules as anyone else, which means 18+ with valid photo ID. For anything more specific, contact PCB before you buy.

When does the transfer window close?

At pickup. Once the card is picked up, PCB's wording no longer covers a transfer. So, if someone drops out, sort it out before you get to the Welcome Center. See the pickup day checklist.

How do you buy so this hurts less?

• Buy only for people who are sure. Each person needs their own card.
• Buy by week as a group. Pick the same week so nobody is stranded. See find your week by the party you want.
• Confirm the level for each person. Levels can differ. Check the entry times first.
• Know who would take a spot. A friend of a friend who is 18+ and can come is a plan B.

What if the whole group cancels?

PCB's pages do not offer a refund. Contact PCB if something serious happens. The contact page is pcbclubcard.com/contact.

What about buying for a group?

PCB says each person needs their own card. You pick the week and card level for each person, and everyone picks up their card with ID and confirmation. Group booking tips cover how to split the work. DoItForBreak has a group booking checklist for the lodging side.

What should you do right now?

Nothing yet. Cards for 2027 are not on sale. Tap Get notified and PCB emails you when they drop.

What should you do first if someone drops out?

In order:

1. Tell the group early. The sooner you know, the more options you have.
2. Check who can take the spot. Someone eligible, 18+, who can make the same week.
3. Sort the transfer before pickup. PCB's rule is about transfers before pickup.
4. Contact PCB if you are unsure. Do not guess about eligibility.

Keep the order confirmation handy. It is what everyone needs at the Welcome Center.

Is there a way to lower the risk?

Yes. Buy once the group is truly set, and tell everyone the final-sale rule up front so nobody is surprised. If one person is not sure, let them decide first. A group that agrees on the week, the level and the pickup time before checkout rarely needs a transfer. When cards drop, PCB's card page is the place to check the latest wording.

Transfer questions.

18+ to enter / 21+ to drink, valid photo ID required. Details on card levels, prices and parties come from pcbclubcard.com; check it for the latest.
