This Week in PCB: Spring Break Week 2 — Peak Season Hits
Updated weekly during the 2026 spring break season.
Week 2 is when PCB goes from “warming up” to “fully operational.” The major schools have released for break, the clubs are at capacity, and the beach is wall-to-wall spring breakers from one end to the other.
The Scene This Week
The energy level jumped dramatically from week 1. Club La Vela hit peak capacity on Saturday night. Spinnaker’s daytime beach parties are drawing massive crowds. The strip is buzzing from noon until well past 2 AM every day.
The weather pushed into the upper 70s this week, which brought even more people onto the beach and into the pool party circuit. Gulf water temperatures are climbing.
Tips for This Week’s Arrivals
If you’re arriving during peak week, you’re in for the full spring break experience. Here’s how to navigate the peak:
Plan for lines. Every venue will have a wait after 10:30 PM. Arrive early or get a PCB Club Card for faster entry. Book everything in advance. Restaurants, activities, and events fill up fast during peak. Pace yourself. Peak week energy is intense. Take a recovery afternoon if you need it.
What’s Coming
Week 3 maintains the peak energy. If you’re heading to PCB next week, expect crowds similar to this week with potentially even bigger events.
