The $80 Fred's Card: who it's for.

Cheapest card, narrowest window. Here is who it fits.

TL;DRThe Fred's Card is $80 (plus taxes and fees) and gets free entry 8 to 10 PM at Hammerhead Fred's only, plus Fred's food and drink discounts and discounted specialty events. It is not valid at Señor Frog's or Whiskey's, and it has no free-drink windows. If you will mostly be at Fred's early in the night, it works. Otherwise look at Platinum.

The Fred's Card is the entry-level card. It is also the easiest one to misread. Here is the plain version, based on PCB's card page.

What does the Fred's Card include?

Free entry 8 to 10 PM at Hammerhead Fred's ($80, plus taxes and fees)
Access to Fred's events only
Discounted specialty events
Discounts on food and drinks at Fred's
No blackout dates: valid every night of your week

What is not included?

Other venues. It is not valid at Whiskey's Saloon or Señor Frog's.
Free-drink windows. The 3 to 5 PM and 8 to 10 PM windows are not part of the Fred's Card.
Beach Blast. It is not valid at Frog's.
Free entry outside 8 to 10 PM.

Who is it good for?

It fits if:

You will spend most nights at Hammerhead Fred's. Eight of the twelve parties are there: LIT, Snowfall, Pardi-Gras, Illumination, the two foam parties, Neon Honky Tonk and St. Patty-Gras.
You plan to get there early, between 8 and 10 PM.
You are watching your budget and do not need free drinks.
You are under 21 and the drinks are not part of your plan.

Who should skip it?

Think twice if:

You want Beach Blast, the Wednesday day party at Frog's.
You want to try Whiskey's or Frog's parties.
You want free drinks as part of the plan.
You plan to arrive late.

What are the best Fred's nights?

What is the smart way to use the Fred's Card?

If you decide it fits, use it well:

Arrive between 8 and 10 PM. That is the free-entry window.
Pick the Fred's nights. LIT, Snowfall, Illumination, Pardi-Gras, Neon Honky Tonk and St. Patty-Gras are all at Fred's.
Use the food and drink discounts at Fred's, which PCB lists as part of the card.
Skip the Wednesday day party, since it is not valid at Frog's.

It is a focused card. Used that way, it does its job.
