March 17, 2027 is a Wednesday, and it is St. Patrick's Day. PCB's calendar puts four things on it. Here is how to plan.
What is happening on March 17?

What is a sensible order?
Our suggestion, not an official plan:
- Afternoon: Beach Blast. It runs 1 to 5 PM, so it is the only part of the day with a fixed window.
- Early evening: rest and eat. A real dinner. Water. Change.
- Night: pick one evening party. St. Patty-Gras or Neon Honky Tonk at Fred's, or Bass & Boots at Whiskey's.
If you try for three evening parties, you will spend your night in a car.
Which evening party should you pick?
- St. Patty-Gras: beads, touring DJs, green drinks. It is the Mardi Gras and St. Patrick's mashup. Wear green, purple or gold.
- Neon Honky Tonk: country meets EDM under neon lights.
- Bass & Boots: country and club night at Whiskey's, a more local-feeling bar with live music.

Which card works for what?
- Ultimate: all four, free entry all night.
- Platinum: all four, free entry until 11 PM.
- Fred's Card: Neon Honky Tonk and St. Patty-Gras only, free entry 8 to 10 PM at Fred's.

How do you get around?
Fred's is on Thomas Drive. Frog's and Whiskey's are on Front Beach Road. Plan your ride before you go, and do not drive after drinking. See getting between venues.
Why is it the busiest day?
PCB lists more events on March 17 than on any other day. That is a fact from the calendar. We cannot tell you how crowded it will be, because PCB does not publish that. DoItForBreak looks at the busiest week if you want a trip-planning view.
What is the one rule?
Pace yourself. Keep your ID with you: 18+ to enter, 21+ to drink, valid photo ID. Free drinks are 21+ only.
How do you keep the day from running you over?
A few rules of thumb:
- Eat a real lunch before 1 PM if you are doing Beach Blast.
- Set one alarm for a rest, even if it is 45 minutes.
- Agree on the evening party before you leave the room, not at the door.
- Have your room sorted early; see where to stay for St. Patrick's week.
- Keep your valid photo ID and card on you the whole day.
The day looks big on paper. One day party and one night party is plenty.
