PCB’s spring break music scene spans everything from touring EDM DJs at Club La Vela to live bands at Sharky’s to country acts at Tootsie’s. Whatever your taste, there’s a venue and a lineup that fits.

Where the DJs Play

Club La Vela is the primary venue for big-name DJ bookings. Their main room hosts national touring artists throughout the season, with past years featuring acts across EDM, hip-hop, and pop. La Vela’s multi-room setup also means resident DJs in every room, every night — you’ll always find a DJ playing your preferred genre somewhere in the building.

Spinnaker Beach Club books DJs for both daytime beach parties and nighttime events. The open-air setting gives their DJ sets a different energy than an indoor club — you’re dancing on the beach with the ocean as a backdrop.

Where Live Music Lives

Sharky’s Beachfront is the top live music venue in PCB during spring break. They book a rotation of bands playing everything from rock and country to reggae and funk. The beachfront stage with the Gulf behind it is one of the best live music settings you’ll find anywhere.

Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge at Pier Park focuses on country and Americana. Live bands play nightly, and the quality is consistently high — this is a Nashville-pedigree venue.

Schooners programs live music on their deck overlooking the Gulf. More mellow than the big clubs, but the setting is gorgeous and the musicians are solid.
